Fiber Farm Mill started with a simple vision: to create a space where natural fibers could be processed and spun with care, to support local farmers and artisans. We are a small, family-run mill offering everything from raw fiber processing to custom spinning services.
Our journey is more than just fiber; it’s about fostering a deep connection with the land, fiber animals, the materials we work with, and the people who craft with them. Each strand of fiber we process tells a story, and we are honored to be part of that story.
My love for crafting and fiber arts has been with me for as long as I can remember. I’ve been knitting and crocheting for over 20 years, and my passion for fiber quickly led me to hand spinning. In 2015, I took the next step by acquiring my first alpacas, which deepened my connection to the fiber world.
After retiring from my career as a Registered Nurse, I decided to fully embrace my passion for fiber. April 2024, we took the exciting leap and purchasing our mill, and I’ve been dedicated to bringing my dream to life ever since.
I’m thrilled to combine my love of fiber with the craft of milling, and I look forward to sharing that passion with you.
I handle all things marketing and tech-related. With a background in business and online software development, I bring a technical edge to our operations. When we decided to start the mill, I knew my skills could help spread the word about our high-quality products.
From managing our website and social media to ensuring our technology is always up-to-date, I’m the behind-the-scenes guy making sure everything runs smoothly. I’m proud to support Wendi’s vision and help share our passion for fiber with the world.
Andy is the heart of our mill and the reason we do what we do. Our farm, Andy’s Farm, is dedicated to him. Diagnosed with severe autism at the age of two, Andy has grown into the sweetest young man. He doesn’t speak with words but expresses his love through touch.
Mill companions and door monitors. My best friends who keep me company while I process fiber.
